Day 1: Your adventure begins with a panoramic Seaplane flight from Seattle or Vancouver. This flight takes you across the dramatic Pacific coastal islands, and the magnificent mountains along the west coast of Vancouver Island. Arriving at Eagle Nook Resort's marina, you will be greeted by Eagle Nook staff and shown to your comfortable accommodations in our natural log cabins overlooking Jane Bay. Your deluxe cabin features a king-sized bed, a sitting area with freestanding wood burning fireplace, a kitchenette and outside deck with bay views
Dinner is served in the Lodge Great Room. Featuring creative continental cuisine, our imaginative Chef uses local fresh ingredients to create a variety of daily masterpieces, pairing them with fine wines. Dinner will be one of your favorite experiences at Eagle Nook.
After dinner relax in front of a roaring fire, indulge in game of pool or soak in the hot tub under a star-studded sky.
Day 2: A day of World-Class Fishing
Your day will start early as there is always something just waiting to be caught at Eagle Nook. You'll be led by an expert local guide who's more than willing to divulge his favorite fishing spot. You will be going out in a 20-26 foot covered boat that is fully equipped with downriggers, tackle, bait, and electronic fish finder. Box luncheon is provided.
Upon your return to the Lodge, your guide will prepare and package your fish for shipping or to take with you. Or you can request that our Chef specially prepare your "catch of the day" for your dining pleasure. You are scheduled to take your first spa treatment. The Firs offers several types of spa treatments designed to relax pamper and invigorate.
Chef may have for your enjoyment clams and oysters roasting on the outdoor fire pit. Enjoy dinner in the Great Room or arrange a candle lit dinner for two in each of your cabins.
Day 3: Soar with the Eagles
Enjoy our daily continental breakfast, or order one of our hearty breakfast specials to fuel up for a day of adventure. Swooping low along a riverbed from sea level to mountain vistas and up the face of a waterfall on your way to an island destination - heli-venturing is a lifetime experience. There are so many things to see and do on Vancouver Island, your professional A-Star jet helicopter pilot will help you determine what can be combined into your experience. A picnic lunch is provided at a special place where few have been.
Upon returning you will have time to continue your exploration around the Lodge. Enjoy your second spa treatment.
Once again, enjoy cocktails prior to dinner in the Great Room. Of course, the hot tub is always ready.
Day 4: See Wildlife, up close and personal
Breakfast at your leisure, although you will want to be ready early for another exciting adventure. Suit up and we will be off on the marine excursion in either our 16 or 19-foot cruiser. This is true exploration as nature determines what will be seen, your guide will talk about the history, culture and traditions of the original habitants and help you spot wildlife. You're sure to see Bald Eagles, herons, and harbor seals. You might be lucky and see black bear and deer on the shore, or migrating gray whales, sea lions, otters or orcas.
Your time at Eagle Nook comes to an end when you depart the Resort at 1:00 p.m. for the flight back to the mainland.
